Science Lab Teacher – Job Role
Job Title: Science Lab Teacher / Laboratory Assistant
Manage and maintain the school science laboratory and equipment.
Assist teachers and students during practical classes and experiments.
Prepare laboratory materials, apparatus and chemicals required for experiments.
Ensure proper safety procedures and discipline in the laboratory.
Maintain records of laboratory equipment, chemicals and consumable materials.
Check and maintain laboratory instruments and report damaged equipment.
Demonstrate experiments and explain basic laboratory procedures to students.
Ensure proper cleaning, storage and protected handling of laboratory materials.
Support practical examinations, projects and science activities.
Promote a secure, organized and effective practical learning workplace.
