Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development expertise in Ruby on Rails, experience working in agile teams, and willingness to transition into Java-based development in the future.

Key Responsibilities

Technical
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using Ruby on Rails.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Gradually learn and contribute to Java-based applications and services.
Assist in system architecture decisions and technology upgrades.

Non-Technical
Guide and mentor junior developers in Ruby on Rails best practices and coding standards.




Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, and product managers.
Work closely with cross-functional teams during night shift hours.

Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
4+ years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails
RSpec, Sidekiq, Redis
Docker & AWS
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Positive communication and teamwork abilities

Positive to Have
Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (React / Angular / Vue)
Exposure to AI/ML integrations and APIs (OpenAI, Google Cloud AI, AWS AI, Anthropic Claude)
