Key Responsibilities:
Quality checking of raw materials (virgin resin, recycled plastic, additives) before processing
In-process quality checks during the extrusion/granulation process
Testing finished granules/chips for:
Melt Flow Index (MFI/MFR)
Moisture content
Colour consistency & dispersion
Granule size uniformity
Contamination/foreign particle check
Density
Maintaining batch-wise quality records and test reports
Coordinating with production for process deviation correction (temperature, screw speed issues affecting quality)
Sample testing before dispatch, maintaining retained samples
Handling customer complaints related to quality, root cause analysis

Skills Required:
Knowledge of polymer properties, resin behavior, MFI testing
Familiarity with lab equipment - MFI tester, moisture analyser
Understanding of extrusion/compounding process — added advantage
Basic Excel for quality reports
Attention to detail, documentation discipline
Qualification:



Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Plastic Technology / Mechanical / Production Engineering (Plastic Technology preferred/added advantage)
Experience: 1–3 years in manufacturing QC (plastics/injection moulding industry preferred) Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply. Selection will be based on skills.
