OT Technician – Job Description

Position: OT Technician

Experience: Minimum 1 Year

Department: Operation Theatre (OT)

Location: Eden Critical Care Hospital, Chandigarh

Job Responsibilities
Assist doctors and surgical teams during operative procedures.
Prepare and arrange OT instruments, equipment, and surgical supplies before procedures.
Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of OT instruments and equipment.
Maintain OT readiness, cleanliness, and infection-control standards.
Handle surgical instruments and equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist in patient preparation and positioning as per procedure requirements.
Maintain OT stock, inventory, and records of consumables.
Follow hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and infection-control practices.
Coordinate with nursing and medical staff for smooth OT operations.




Perform other OT-related duties assigned by the senior/OT in-charge.

Eligibility
Diploma/B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 1 year of relevant OT experience.
Valuable knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization, and OT procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a team and under pressure.

Skills Required
Positive communication and teamwork skills.
Responsible and disciplined approach.
Knowledge of OT safety and infection-control protocols.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including emergencies.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
