They are responsible for reviewing requirements, designing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers to ensure the end-user receives a bug-free experience.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Planning & Execution: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.Defect Tracking: Identify, isolate, and document bugs/issues using tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).Automation: Develop and maintain automated testing scripts to streamline the testing process.Reporting: Document testing procedures, maintain logs, and report on the overall software quality status to stakeholders.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and developers to understand project requirements and verify bug fixes.
