Staff Nurse – Infection Control Nurse (ICN)Qualification
GNM / B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing.
Valid Nursing Council Registration.
Certification or training in Infection Prevention and Control will be an added advantage.

Experience
Minimum 2–5 years of clinical nursing experience.
Experience in Infection Control, Quality, NABH, or Hospital Accreditation preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor hospital infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
Conduct surveillance of Hospital-Acquired Infections (HAIs) and maintain infection control records.
Monitor hand hygiene compliance and infection control practices across all departments.
Conduct regular infection control audits and submit reports to management.
Coordinate with microbiology laboratory for infection surveillance and data analysis.
Investigate infection outbreaks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Train and educate healthcare workers on infection prevention practices.
Ensure proper biomedical waste management as per statutory guidelines.
Monitor sterilization and disinfection processes in clinical areas.
Participate in NABH accreditation activities,



quality improvement programs, and committee meetings.
Monitor antibiotic stewardship initiatives in coordination with clinicians.
Prepare monthly infection control reports and present findings to the Infection Control Committee.
Ensure compliance with national and international infection control standards.

Skills Required
Robust knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) practices.
Familiarity with NABH standards and quality management systems.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
Positive communication and training abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and hospital information systems.

Reporting To
Quality Manager / Medical Superintendent / Infection Control Committee.

Preferred Competencies
Knowledge of NABH Accreditation Standards.
Experience in conducting audits and surveillance activities.
Ability to analyze infection data and implement corrective actions.
Solid leadership and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
