Job Purpose
To support day-to-day stores operations, including receiving, identification, storage, issue and inventory control of raw materials, sheet metal components, consumables and finished goods while maintaining proper documentation and housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in receiving raw materials, components and consumables from suppliers.
Check quantity, material description and basic documents against the Purchase Order (PO) / Delivery Challan (DC).
Support material identification, tagging, labeling and proper storage.
Maintain proper storage of sheet metal materials such as MS, SS, GI sheets, coils, fabricated parts and consumables.
Assist in material issue to production against authorized Material Requisition / Issue Slip.
Update stock records, bin cards and ERP/system entries as required.
Support daily stock verification and physical inventory counting.
Identify and report shortage, excess, damage or mismatch in materials.
Maintain proper records for inward, outward, rejection, return and transfer of materials.
Follow FIFO/FEFO wherever applicable.
Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality and Dispatch teams for material requirements.
Ensure proper segregation of OK, rejected, hold and return materials.
Assist in maintaining 5S,
housekeeping and safety standards in the stores area.
Follow company procedures for material handling and storage safety.
Support periodic stock audits and reconciliation.
Perform other stores-related activities assigned by the Stores In-Charge.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of inventory and stores management.
Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Excel.
Willingness to learn ERP/SAP or other inventory software.
Valuable numerical and record-keeping skills.
Basic understanding of sheet metal/raw material identification is an advantage.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work in a manufacturing workplace.
Strong attention to detail and discipline.

Inventory accuracy.
Timely material issue to production.
Accuracy of inward/outward documentation.
Proper material identification and storage.
Reduction of material shortages and discrepancies.
Compliance with 5S, safety and housekeeping standards.
Timely completion of stock verification.
Pay: ₹23,500.00 - ₹25,500.00 per month
