Quality Control Engineer – Electrical Panels

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer with experience in electrical panel manufacturing to ensure the quality and reliability of electrical panels through incoming inspection, in-process inspection, final inspection, testing, documentation, and corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct incoming, in-process, and final quality inspection of electrical panels and materials.
Inspect electrical wiring, busbar assembly, panel assembly, and mechanical fitment as per drawings and specifications.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, GA drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.
Identify defects, prepare QC reports, NCRs, and corrective action reports, and follow up for closure.
Maintain quality records, inspection reports, checklists, and panel traceability.
Perform and maintain inspection, testing, measuring instruments, and calibration records.
Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Service, and Stores teams to resolve quality issues.
Support troubleshooting, quality improvement, and root cause analysis.




Ensure compliance with applicable quality and safety standards.
Maintain 5S and housekeeping in the assigned QC/production area.

Requirements
BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
2–6 years of experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance, preferably in electrical panel or switchgear manufacturing.
Knowledge of LT/HT Panels, PCC, MCC, APFC, AMF, control panels, switchgear, wiring, and busbar assembly.
Knowledge of inspection, testing, quality documentation, NCR, corrective action, and calibration.
Ability to read electrical and GA drawings.
Basic knowledge of ERP, MS Excel, and QC documentation.
Positive communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and coordination skills.
