Position: Video Editor

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who can create engaging, high-quality video content for Instagram, YouTube, short films, promotional content, and other digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Edit short-form and long-form videos for Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
Create engaging Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, and cinematic edits.
Add transitions, effects, sound design, subtitles, and color corrections.
Create motion graphics and animated elements using After Effects.
Understand pacing, storytelling, music synchronization, and visual composition.
Work with raw footage and transform it into polished final content.
Collaborate with the content, creative, and social media teams.
Maintain consistency in editing style, branding, and visual quality.
Deliver projects within given deadlines.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
Good knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
Understanding of Motion Graphics and Animation.




Basic knowledge of color grading and sound editing.
Good understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media trends.
Robust sense of timing, creativity, and storytelling.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Experience
6 months to 1 year of professional/freelance experience in video editing.
Candidates with a solid portfolio/showreel are preferred.

Qualifications
Any degree/diploma in Media, Film, Animation, Visual Communication, Design, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant skills and portfolio will be considered even without a related degree.

Preferred
Experience editing Reels, Shorts, advertisements, music videos, or short films.
Knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator is an added advantage.
Valuable understanding of current social media content trends.

Salary: As per experience and skill level.
