Role Objective The Senior Oracle WMS Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, deploying and user support for Oracle WMS (EBS R12) solutions. This includes automating inbound and outbound processes, improving inventory accuracy, and integrating WMS with MSCA (Mobile Supply Chain Applications) and other EBS/oracle modules ike OTM, HCM to ensure a seamless supply chain flow.

Key Responsibilities

- Solution Design & Configuration: Lead the functional setup of WMS components including Warehouse Organizations, Zones, Locators, Picking/Putaway Rules, and Task Management.
- Process Optimization: Design and implement complex warehouse strategies:
- Inbound: ASN receiving, direct/standard/inspection putaway, and cross-docking.
- Outbound: Wave planning, pick release strategies, cartonization, and shipping.
- Inventory: Cycle counting, physical inventory, and LPN (License Plate Number) management.
- MSCA & Handheld Integration: Configure and troubleshoot Mobile Supply Chain Applications (MSCA) .



Design mobile pages and personalizations to streamline user tasks on RF guns/handheld devices.
- Rule Engine Configuration: Build and test sophisticated WMS rules for picking, putaway, and cost group assignment based on business-specific logic (e.g., FIFO, FEFO, or hazmat constraints).
- Cross-Module Integration: Manage the touchpoints between WMS and:
- Inventory (INV): Lot and serial control, subinventory transfers.
- Order Management (OM): Picking and shipping execution.
- Purchasing (PO): Receiving and supplier returns.
- Shipping Execution (WSH): Thru OTM planning

Technical Expertise

- Oracle EBS R12: Proficiency in R12.2 architecture and the core WMS/Inventory modules.
- Mobile Technology: Strong experience with Oracle MSCA/MWA (Mobile Wireless Architecture) and Telnet configurations.
- Labeling Systems: Experience with label printing software (e.g., Loftware, Zebra/ZPL) and XML Publisher for warehouse documentation.
- Scripting/Data: Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data migration, troubleshooting, and API-based integrations.
