Role & responsibilities
Position Overview
We have recently implemented Oracle SaaS and looking for an Oracle Operations Specialist to support and strengthen its post-go-live operational environment. This role is focused on stabilizing Oracle Fusion Cloud across Finance, HR and Procurement by evaluating operational processes, analyzing data and driving alignment between business and IT teams. The position is high impact and directly supports the organizations ability to operate efficiently, reduce operational friction and continuously improve system adoption.
Key Responsibilities
1. Evaluate Post-Go-Live Processes and Projects
- Review schedules, action logs, RAID trackers and meeting documentation linked to stabilization efforts.
- Ensure cross-team deliverables are aligned to agreed timelines and escalation paths are clearly defined.
2. Deliver Structured Operational Models for Business Teams
- Analyze existing Oracle-enabled business processes across HR, Finance and Procurement.
- Support development of operational models for service delivery, process ownership, SLAs and resource planning.
- Assist in creation of playbooks, swimlane diagrams and RACI matrices.
3. Analyze Operational Data to Identify Gaps and Opportunities
- Collect and analyze data from Oracle SaaS platforms, ticketing systems and manual trackers.
- Identify process inefficiencies, user friction points and underutilized functionality.
- Support root cause analysis and present findings through dashboards, summaries and reports.
4. Provide Administrative and Communication Support for Operations Teams
- Prepare meeting materials and manage documentation workflows.
- Update SOPs and maintain centralized documentation repositories.
- Ensure accurate communication of timelines, process changes and ownership across teams.
5. Facilitate Cross-Functional Alignment Between Business and IT
- Act as a liaison between business operations teams and technical teams.
- Ensure operational models are executable and aligned with system capabilities.
- Track enhancement requests and ensure business requirements are clearly translated.
Qualifications:----
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Public Administration or a related field required.
- Master’s degree or relevant certification preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in business operations, process analysis or a related analytical role.
- Hands-on familiarity with Oracle SaaS platforms such as ERP, HCM or EPM in a post-implementation or operational support environment.
- Experience working in public sector, government or regulated environments is preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud modules including Financials, Procurement and/or HCM.
- Proficiency with ITSM/ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira and process documentation tools.
- Ability to collect, analyze and visualize operational data using dashboards, reports and summaries.
- Familiarity with RACI matrices, swimlane diagrams and SOP development methodologies.
