Company Description Alpha Angels Animal Trust (also known as Angels for Animals) is a women-led animal welfare organization based in Goa, India, working to create a humane, sustainable model for street animal care. The organization operates across rescue, medical treatment, sterilization, and community engagement to reduce animal-human conflict and improve welfare outcomes. Since 2021, Alpha Angels has treated and sterilized thousands of animals, established a treatment center with diagnostic and surgical facilities, and launched Surakshit Goa, a flagship campaign focused on education, outreach, and targeted sterilization.

The team focuses on addressing root causes such as population control, lack of awareness, and fear, while keeping operations lean and community-integrated.

Angels is now working toward building Goa’s first 24/7 hospital for street animals, aiming to create a replicable model for humane care across India.

Role Description The Operations Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Goa, India, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across rescue, treatment, sterilization, and outreach activities. This role involves supervising staff and volunteers, coordinating schedules, optimizing workflow at the treatment center, and ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards.

The Operations

Supervisor will track operational metrics, monitor resource utilization, and support continuous improvement in processes and service delivery.



They will collaborate closely with veterinary teams and community outreach staff to align operations with campaign goals, particularly Surakshit Goa. The role also includes basic administrative oversight, reporting, and contributing to strategic planning for future expansion, including the development of the 24/7 street animal hospital.

- Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills and experience leading teams in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
- Candidates should possess operations and operations management skills to coordinate daily activities, allocate resources, and maintain productive workflows.
- Candidates should possess analytical skills to interpret data, monitor performance indicators, and support data-informed decision-making.
- Candidates should possess clear and effective communication skills for working with staff, volunteers, partners, and community members.
- Experience in animal welfare, healthcare, or nonprofit operations is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Goa, handle fast-paced and emotionally demanding situations, and maintain a compassionate, professional approach.
- Relevant academic background in operations management, business administration, social work, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency with basic office software and comfort with maintaining digital records and reports is advantageous.
