About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional with extensive expertise in Salt Manufacturing Operations to lead end-to-end production activities. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in Salt Panning, Salt Harvesting, Salt Washery Operations , production planning, quality management, manpower handling, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead complete Salt Manufacturing Operations , ensuring optimum productivity and operational efficiency.
- Plan, supervise, and optimize Salt Panning, Brine Management, Crystallization, and Harvesting activities.
- Manage Salt Washery Operations , including washing, grading, drying, screening, and quality improvement processes.
- Develop production plans based on market demand, weather conditions, and resource availability.
- Ensure adherence to production targets, quality standards, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Monitor brine chemistry, evaporation cycles, and salt crystallization processes to maximize yield and quality.
- Lead and manage large operational teams, contractors, and supervisors across multiple production sites.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and efficient utilization of equipment such as harvesters, loaders, pumps, conveyors, and washery machinery.
- Implement safety standards, statutory compliance, and environmental regulations across all operations.




- Coordinate with Procurement, Maintenance, Logistics, and Commercial teams for seamless plant operations.
- Analyze operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.
- Prepare MIS reports, production reports, and operational dashboards for senior management.
- Mentor and develop team members while fostering a high-performance work culture.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Agriculture, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- 10–15 years of experience in the Salt Manufacturing Industry , with at least 5 years in a leadership/managerial role .
- Experience in managing large-scale salt fields and washery operations.
- Candidates from Kutch/Gujarat Salt Manufacturing Companies will be preferred.
