Job Description:
The Research Laboratory Technician will provide hands-on technical support for sample preparation, reagent preparation, instrument handling, laboratory cleanliness, inventory support, and routine laboratory operations.

Responsibilities:
Prepare reagents, media, buffers, chemicals, glassware, and laboratory materials.
Assist in sample collection, labeling, processing, storage, and inventory maintenance.
Operate basic laboratory instruments under supervision.
Support experiments conducted by research associates and senior staff.
Maintain cleanliness, sterility, safety, and waste disposal standards.
Record observations, instrument usage, and routine laboratory data.
Assist with stock checking, material receiving,



and consumables management.
Follow SOPs, biosafety rules, and institutional laboratory guidelines.

Requirements:
B.Sc., DMLT, B.Pharm, or equivalent qualification.
Prior experience in a diagnostic, academic, pharmaceutical, or research laboratory preferred.

Required Skills:
Basic laboratory techniques and sample handling.
Micro-pipetting, reagent preparation, and sterile practices.
Basic instrument operation and cleaning.
Record keeping and documentation.
Safety awareness and teamwork.
