Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Databricks Expert to join us on a freelance, part-time basis. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, data pipelines, and ETL/ELT processes.

This is an immediate requirement for a freelancer who can work 5 hours per day within the 06:00 AM to 11:00 AM time window.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain data pipelines using Databricks.
Work with PySpark, Apache Spark, and SQL for data processing.
Develop and troubleshoot Databricks notebooks and workflows.
Handle ETL/ELT, data ingestion, and transformation activities.
Work with Delta Lake and Databricks data processing capabilities.
Optimize Spark jobs and Databricks workloads for performance.
Troubleshoot data pipeline and integration issues.
Work with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Understand project requirements and independently deliver assigned tasks.
Collaborate with the client/team and provide technical support as required.

Requirements
2+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks
Strong knowledge of PySpark and SQL
Good understanding of Apache Spark




Experience with ETL/ELT and data engineering
Experience with Databricks notebooks and workflows
Knowledge of Delta Lake
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Valuable English communication skills
Ability to work independently in a freelance setting
Must be available for 4 hours/day between 06:00 AM and 11:00 AM

Compensation

Hourly freelance rate: Candidates are requested to share their expected hourly rate.
