We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead and manage payment gateway operations, with strong expertise in Merchant Onboarding, Reconciliation, Settlement, Chargebacks, and Transaction Operations .

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day Payment Gateway Operations and ensure smooth transaction processing.
- Lead the Merchant Onboarding process, including KYC/KYB, document verification, risk checks, and activation.
- Coordinate with Sales, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Finance, and Banking/Acquiring partners.
- Manage daily transaction reconciliation between payment gateway, acquiring banks, merchants, and internal systems.
- Monitor settlements, refunds, reversals, failed transactions, and pending transactions .
- Manage and resolve chargebacks and disputes , including documentation, representment, and timely responses.
- Track and minimize chargeback ratios and operational losses.




- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly MIS and operational reports .
- Monitor transaction-related issues and ensure timely resolution within defined TATs.
- Coordinate with acquiring banks and payment partners for transaction, settlement, and reconciliation-related issues.
- Identify operational gaps and implement processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Establish and monitor SOPs, controls, and operational processes.
- Lead and mentor the Operations team and allocate daily responsibilities.
- Escalate critical transaction, settlement, fraud, and chargeback issues to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable internal policies and payment industry requirements.

Required Skills
- Strong experience in Payment Gateway / Fintech Operations .
- Hands-on experience in Merchant Onboarding, KYC/KYB, Reconciliation, Settlement, Refunds, and Chargebacks .
- Good understanding of UPI, Cards, Net Banking, Wallets, Payment Aggregators, and Acquiring Banks .
- Robust knowledge of transaction lifecycle and payment processing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and MIS reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage a team and work in a fast-paced environment.
