Role Description This is a part-time remote role for an Online Maths Mentor working in UK shift timings from 8:30 pm - 2:30 am. The mentor will conduct live, interactive online maths sessions for school-age learners, using examples, activities, and explanations that make concepts clear and engaging.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans aligned with course objectives, delivering virtual classes, monitoring learner progress, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves adapting teaching methods to different learning styles, maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance, and collaborating with the academic team to refine content and teaching approaches.



The mentor is expected to communicate regularly with learners and, when required, with parents or guardians to support learning outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in mathematics and the ability to explain concepts clearly at school-level and early advanced levels.
- Experience in online teaching, tutoring, or mentoring children or teenagers, preferably in maths or related subjects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a student-centric approach and patience in handling diverse learning styles.
- Comfort with digital tools and online classroom platforms; ability to manage interactive sessions and basic technical troubleshooting.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree or coursework in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, or related fields.
- Availability to work part-time during UK shift timings and maintain a reliable internet connection and suitable remote work setup.
- Prior experience in activity-based or project-based learning environments is an advantage.
