Role Description The Omni Sports Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Vasant Vihar. In this role, the teammate engages with customers on the shop floor, listens to their needs, and provides sport-specific advice to help them choose the right products and services. Daily responsibilities include maintaining an appealing and well-stocked sales area, supporting merchandising and product displays, and ensuring accurate pricing and information for customers.

Advisor also contributes to an excellent omnichannel experience by assisting with online orders, pickups, and returns,



and by sharing feedback on customer needs with store and sport leaders. This role involves active participation in store events and sport activities, promoting Decathlon’s values and fostering a welcoming community for all sports enthusiasts.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Physical Education and Sports Training, with a solid understanding of fitness, sport fundamentals, and safe training practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in Coaching and Sports Coaching, including the ability to guide, motivate, and support people of varying ages and abilities in their sport journeys.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, enabling clear, empathetic, and customer-focused interactions in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Customer service and sales aptitude, with enthusiasm for helping people discover and enjoy sport.
- Demonstrated passion for one or more sports, with the willingness to continuously learn about new disciplines and products.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, stand for extended periods, and participate in basic physical activities as part of daily work.
- Collaborative mindset, reliability, and openness to feedback, with a commitment to inclusive and respectful teamwork.
- Prior experience in retail, coaching, or sports-related activities is beneficial; relevant education in sports, physical education, or related fields is a plus.
