HCO & Co., Chartered Accountants is looking for an Accounts & Tax Associate to join our team in Bengaluru .
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build robust practical experience in accounting, GST,
TDS and statutory compliance while working closely with multiple clients.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and manage books of accounts for clients
Handle accounting and bookkeeping on Tally / Zoho Books and similar platforms
Prepare and file GST returns and related reconciliations
Assist in preparing GST refund applications and supporting documentation
Prepare working papers and details for GST notices, audits and assessments
Prepare and file TDS returns and related compliances
Assist with ROC / MCA compliances and filings
Coordinate with clients for accounting and compliance-related information
Assist senior team members in tax, accounting and other statutory assignments
Maintain proper documentation and compliance records for clients
Who We’re Looking For
B. Com / M. Com, IPCC, CMA-Inter or equivalent Commerce graduate
1–2 years of relevant experience , preferably in a CA firm
Good working knowledge of Tally and/or Zoho Books
Comfortable with MS Excel, Word and other MS Office applications
Basic practical knowledge of GST and TDS compliances
Positive communication and client coordination skills
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet statutory deadlines
Willingness to learn and take ownership of assignments
