Position Summary /n Hartek Group is looking for a Civil Design Engineer with experience in EHV/HV Substation design to join our Engineering team in Mohali. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the structural and civil design of AIS/GIS substations and be proficient in STAAD.Pro for analysis and design of substation structures and foundations. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n
Prepare civil and structural designs for AIS/GIS substations up to 400/765 kV .

Perform structural analysis and design using STAAD.Pro .

/n
Design foundations for transformers, gantries, equipment, control buildings, switchyards, cable trenches, and boundary walls.

/n
Prepare RCC and structural steel design calculations.

/n
Develop GA drawings, foundation drawings, reinforcement detailing, and structural layouts.

/n
Coordinate with Electrical, Primary, Secondary, and Project teams during engineering.

/n
Ensure designs comply with IS Codes, NBC, IEC, and client specifications .

/n




Review vendor drawings and provide technical approvals.

/n
Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and technical documentation.

/n
Support tender engineering with quantity estimation and preliminary layouts.

/n
Optimize designs for cost, constructability, and project execution.

/n
Coordinate with site teams to resolve construction-related engineering issues.

/n /n Required Qualifications /n /n
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

/n
M.Tech (Structural Engineering).

/n /n Experience /n /n
2–6 years of experience in Civil Design for EHV/HV Substations .

/n
Experience in Power EPC , Transmission & Distribution, or Electrical Infrastructure projects.

/n
Hands-on experience in AIS/GIS Substation design.

/n
Experience working with EPC organizations is preferred.
