Roles and Responsibilities :
- Review mortgage applications to determine loan eligibility and risk assessment.
- Conduct thorough analysis of borrower's creditworthiness, income, assets, and debt-to-income ratios.
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales, operations, and customer service to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
Job Requirements :
- 2-10 years of experience in Mortgage Underwriting or related field.
- Robust understanding of post closing procedures and regulations.
- Proficiency in analyzing complex financial data using software tools like FICO scores etc.
