Role: Relationship Manager

BU: Commercial Banking

SBU: Mid Corporates

Clients' Turnover: 500 to 1500 Crores

Responsibilities:

Strategy and Planning

- Acquire and manage Mid Corporate customers for their banking and financing requirements.

- Act as a single point of contact for all banking needs of assigned customers.

- Build solid customer relationships and drive business growth through Trade Finance, Working Capital, Cash Management, and Treasury solutions.

- Identify cross-sell opportunities and deepen customer engagement to increase revenue.

Product, Policies, Processes & Procedures

- Conducting due diligence on customer & transaction to cater various AML and Regulatory requirements related to Trade transaction.

- Monitoring and reduce compliance pending of bill of entry and export bills

Business Development & Portfolio Management / Revenue Generation

- Acquire and manage Mid Corporate customers for their Working Capital, Trade Finance, Cash Management, and Treasury requirements.

- Assess and cater to customer needs for fund-based and non-fund-based credit facilities.

- Manage the complete customer lifecycle, including acquisition, onboarding, activation, relationship deepening, and retention.

- Increase wallet share and drive revenue growth from new and existing Mid Corporate customers.

- Acquire current Mid Corporate relationships and strengthen existing customer portfolios.

- Facilitate seamless execution of trade and transaction banking services for customers.

- Promote Treasury solutions, including Foreign Exchange and Hedging products, to meet customer requirements.

- Provide Cash Management and Transaction Banking solutions to enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency.

Credit Appraisal

- Credit Assessment and CAM preparation through detailed analysis





- Works in close coordination with key stakeholders from Risk Management to ensure adherence to established credit guidelines.

Business Analytics & Reporting

- Track business performance against assigned targets and portfolio growth.

- Prepare and maintain customer pipeline and MIS reports.

- Identify opportunities to increase customer wallet share and revenue.

- Promote adoption of digital banking and transaction banking solutions.

- Ensure timely and accurate updates of customer information in bank systems.

- Use data and market insights to identify new business opportunities and improve productivity.

People Management

- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

- Customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering quality service.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and bank policies.

- Maintain proper KYC, documentation, and account hygiene.

- Adhere to credit, risk, and operational guidelines.

- Monitor customer accounts regularly and highlight any exceptions.

- Ensure timely closure of audit and compliance observations.

- Follow ethical business practices and maintain high governance standards.

Risk and Internal Control

- Conduct customer due diligence and ensure compliance with KYC/AML requirements.

- Monitor customer accounts and transactions as per bank guidelines.

- Ensure timely submission and completion of required documentation.

- Identify and escalate potential risks and exceptions.

- Adhere to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.

- Maintain portfolio quality and compliance hygiene.
