Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ETL / Data QA Engineer with 610 years of experience in ETL testing, data validation, strong SQL, Python, and GCP data platforms. The candidate will be responsible for validating end-to-end data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and completeness, and identifying data quality issues across source systems, transformation layers, and target data warehouses.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases and test scenarios for end-to-end data pipelines.
Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation using complex SQL queries.
Validate data transformation, mapping, business rules, aggregations, joins, and data completeness.
Perform data quality testing including null, duplicate, count, datatype, referential integrity, and boundary checks.
Test ETL pipelines running on GCP, particularly BigQuery and DataProc.
Validate and monitor workflows orchestrated through Apache Airflow.
Develop Python scripts for test automation, data validation, and ETL testing.
Work with DBT models and validate transformation logic and data quality.
Perform regression testing whenever ETL pipelines,



data models, or business rules are changed.
Validate data across multiple sources and target systems, including SAS databases.
Identify, document, track, and manage defects through the complete defect lifecycle.
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Developers, Business Analysts, and Product teams to resolve data issues.
Support production validation, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting of data pipeline failures.
Contribute to improving automated data quality and testing frameworks.

Mandatory Skills
6–10 years of overall QA / ETL Testing experience
Robust hands-on experience in ETL Testing / Data Testing
Strong SQL skills with complex queries
Good programming experience in Python
Hands-on experience with GCP
Solid experience with Google BigQuery
Experience with DataProc / Spark-based data processing
Experience with Apache Airflow for ETL workflow orchestration
Experience with DBT / DBT testing
Experience working with SAS Database / SAS data environments
Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts
Experience with Source-to-Target validation and Data Reconciliation
Positive understanding of Data Quality and Data Validation
