Key Responsibilities

- Design and execute API, integration, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing for microservices applications.
- Test REST APIs using Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, or similar tools.
- Validate Apache Kafka producers, consumers, topics, partitions, offsets, and message flows.
- Perform end-to-end testing of event-driven and distributed microservices architectures.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java/Python.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Analyze Kafka messages and validate payloads, schemas, sequencing, and data integrity.
- Perform database validation using SQL.
- Execute performance, integration, and system testing for distributed applications.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and track defects using Jira.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams in Agile/Scrum environments.

Mandatory Skills

- Robust experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.
- Hands-on experience testing Microservices.




- Robust experience with Kafka testing and event-driven systems.
- API testing using Postman / REST Assured.
- Automation experience using Java or Python.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Jenkins / GitLab / Azure DevOps.
- Good SQL/database testing experience.
- Experience with Git.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies.

Good to Have

- Kafka Streams / Schema Registry / Avro.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- Cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Performance testing using JMeter/Gatling.
- Selenium/Playwright/Cypress.
- Monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus.
