Role Overview

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for the design review, installation oversight, operation, and maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within RackBank s data center facilities. This role ensures continuous uptime, efficiency, and safety of mission-critical infrastructure while supporting expansion and upgrade projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for data center infrastructure.

- Monitor and manage HVAC systems, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units to maintain ideal temperature and humidity.

- Ensure reliable operation of UPS, DG sets, transformers, and switchgear with proper redundancy (N+1/2N).

- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for all MEP systems.

- Maintain and test fire detection and suppression systems (FM200, NOVEC, sprinklers, hydrants).

- Review and validate MEP drawings, load calculations, and project documentation.

- Coordinate with vendors, contractors,



and internal teams for system upgrades or repairs.

Key Requirements

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute.

- 2-5 years of experience in MEP services, preferably in data centers or mission-critical facilities.

- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, UPS, DG, BMS, EMS, and electrical distribution systems.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project coordination tools.

- Certifications in Revit MEP, PMP, or Electrical/Fire Safety are an added advantage.

- Knowledge of safety protocols, IS codes, and electrical/mechanical standards.
