- Manage shift-wise foundry production and manpower.
- Monitor melting, moulding, core making, pouring and fettling processes.
- Ensure proper chemical composition, temperature and inoculation of Cast Iron / SG Iron.
- Achieve production targets with minimum rejection and rework.
- Identify and control casting defects and take corrective action.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance and Production teams for smooth operations.
- Maintain shift production, quality and downtime reports.
- Ensure compliance with SOP, safety and 5S standards.
- Train and guide operators for quality and productivity improvement.
- Ensure proper shift handover and reporting to the Foundry/Production Head.
