About the RoleMaanith Industries Private Limited is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at the Bagodara Plant near Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working within the cement industry, with a strong understanding of plant machinery, maintenance operations, and production processes specific to cement manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment (kilns, crushers, raw mills, cement mills, conveyors, etc.)
- Monitor and troubleshoot mechanical systems to minimize plant downtime
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth plant operations
- Plan and execute equipment overhauls and shutdown maintenance schedules
- Maintain records of equipment performance, spare parts inventory, and maintenance history




- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols on the plant floor
- Identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements to increase efficiency
- Supervise and guide junior technicians/mechanical staff as required

Requirements
- Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: Prior work experience in a cement plant is mandatory (please specify minimum years required)
- Strong knowledge of rotary kilns, mills, crushers, and material handling systems
- Familiarity with plant maintenance software/ERP systems is a plus
- Willingness to work at the Bagodara plant location (Ahmedabad)
- Good problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with predictive maintenance techniques
- Knowledge of statutory/safety compliance in heavy industrial plants
