Role Summary

On behalf of our premier client, Cognizant, we are seeking a highly analytical and experienced MDM Test Engineer (4+ Years). In this role, you will act as the core quality authority for enterprise-scale Master Data Management (MDM) systems and workflows. You will validate master data domains across complex system topologies, execute end-to-end data migration and integration tests using advanced SQL querying, and enforce strict data governance and data quality standards.

Responsibilities

- MDM System Validation: Test, audit, and validate complex MDM systems and operational workflows across multiple source and target applications.

- Data Domain Quality: Validate master data for complete consistency and precision across critical business domains (Customer, Product, Vendor, Material, etc.).

- Migration & Integration Testing: Plan and execute data migration testing, data integration testing, and end-to-end backend validation workflows.

- SQL Querying & Reconciliation: Write advanced, complex SQL queries for deep-dive database testing, automated data validation, and multi-tier database reconciliations.

- Governance Enforcement: Enforce Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Cleansing standards by testing duplicate management, matching protocols, and survivorship rules.

- ETL Flow Monitoring: Work with ETL/Data Integration tools to inspect, monitor,



and validate automated data flows running across various enterprise ecosystems.

Mandatory Selection Criteria:

- Overall Experience: Minimum 4+ years of core experience in MDM Testing, Data Testing, Database Testing, ETL Testing, or Data Quality Testing.

- MDM Domain Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience testing Master Data Management (MDM) systems, including validation of key domains like Customer, Product, or Vendor datasets.

- SQL Mastery: Advanced proficiency in SQL, with a verified ability to write complex queries from scratch for backend database validation.

- Data Integration: Robust background handling data migration assessments, data integration architectures, and cross-system data pipeline tracking.

- Governance Frameworks: Solid functional grasp of Data Quality frameworks, master data lifecycle rules, matching & survivorship configurations, and deduplication logic.

- Notice Period: Strictly Immediate joiners or candidates who can join within a 2 to 4-week window.

- Interview Logistics: Must be willing to attend a Face-to-Face (F2F) interview at the nearest Cognizant corporate office.

Preferred Technology Platform Skills:

- Prior platform exposure to Informatica MDM, SAP MDG, Reltio, Semarchy, IBM InfoSphere MDM, Stibo, or similar enterprise MDM software suites.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹4,000,000.00 per year
