Role Description The Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Vikkiravandi. The Manager will oversee day-to-day operations related to infrastructure asset management, including monitoring performance, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities include planning and tracking projects, preparing reports and presentations for leadership, supporting budgeting and financial reviews, and implementing process improvements for efficiency and risk mitigation. The role involves engaging with stakeholders, addressing operational issues, and contributing to strategic initiatives that support sustainable asset growth and value creation.
The Manager is expected to promote collaboration, uphold governance standards, and support a culture of safety, learning, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong planning, coordination, and project management abilities, with experience managing operational activities in infrastructure, transportation, or a related sector.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in data analysis, performance monitoring, and risk assessment for complex projects.
- Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, present findings, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of governance, compliance, and basic financial concepts relevant to infrastructure assets, including familiarity with regulatory frameworks and reporting standards.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in standard office and productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, collaboration platforms) and a readiness to learn new systems and technologies.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, management, or a related discipline; a postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA or equivalent) in infrastructure or business management is an advantage.
- Prior experience in asset management, operations, or project management within highways or transportation infrastructure is preferred.
