Requirement

- Solid Knowledge of Industrial Engineering Fundamentals
- SAP/TPM or Lean Manufacturing
- Good Knowledge of machining, assembly process
- Good Understanding of emerging technologies (IoT, AR/VR, Automation)
- Knowledge of Financial analysis to review Capex & Its ROI

Managerial Skills Requirement

Summary /Purpose of the role

- The position shall be responsible for carrying out Industrial Engineering related activities for various manufacturing sites of KBL.

- Responsible for Product and Process Validation
- Facility/resources planning
- Conduct the utilization studies for facilities/resources
- Identify the requirement or overutilization and take required corrective actions





- Recommendations for the requirement of new buildings or up gradation of existing infrastructure

- Monitor plant functioning with a view to identifying avenues for productivity improvement

- Monitor different aspects of plant functioning, such as equipment efficiency and plant capacity monthly and forward key observations to the plant.

- Review plant layout and identify opportunities for productivity improvement

- Responsible for the reduction in cycle time/ Standard time calculation
- Ensure reduction in throughput/lead time
- Explore avenues for work simplification and standardization

- Product Costing Support
- Monitor ongoing activities in the production cycle, evaluate and check product costs
- Monitor costing on materials procured and coordinate with Supply Chain to identify opportunities to enhance cost efficiency

- Layouts

Updating of machines layout for optimization of process and material handling
- Productivity Improvement initiatives
- Coordination of Productivity improvement techniques for implementation purposes and post-implementation tracking

- Knowledge of AutoCAD / 3D cad software / New Immerging technologies like Industry 4.0 / IOT / Automation will be added advantage
