Key Responsibilities

- Data Center Operations Management:
- Oversee daily data center operations, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, and operating systems.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of Datacenter Compute, Storage and Networking systems.
- Infrastructure Management:
- Manage data center infrastructure, including networking, Storage and server systems.
- Plan, implement, and maintain data center infrastructure upgrades and migrations.
- Capacity Planning and Management:
- Develop and maintain capacity plans to ensure data center infrastructure meets business demands.
- Monitor and optimize resource utilization to prevent bottlenecks and waste.
- Security and Compliance:
- Ensure data center security, compliance, and regulatory requirements are met
- Implement and maintain security controls, access management, and incident response procedures.
- Team Management:
- Lead, train, and mentor data center operations team members.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with data center vendors, contractors, and partners.




- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
- Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Ensure data center operations align with organizational resilience goals.
- Budgeting and Cost Management:
- Manage data center budget, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6-9 years of experience in data center operations management.
- Proven expertise in data center infrastructure, security, and compliance.
- Robust leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with data center management tools, such as DCIM, ITSM, and monitoring software.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001 etc).

Nice to Have

- Relevant certifications: ITIL, CKA, CCNA, RHCA etc
- Experience with cloud, hybrid, or edge computing environments.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and DevOps practices.
