Job Summary:

We are looking for a results-driven
Business Analyst
to spearhead the design, development, and optimization of back-end operations for our growing
e-commerce marketplace operation
. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable systems and features. Your analytical mindset, e-commerce experience, and process orientation will play a crucial role in building a seamless operational backbone for our marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current business processes across the marketplace back-end (order flow, inventory management, WMS, customer service, etc., translating them into effective IT solutions.
- Define and document detailed business requirements, user stories, process flows, and system interactions
- Work closely with developers to design scalable backend systems including seller management, fulfillment workflows, payment/Data processing, and returns handling




- Translate complex business logic into functional and technical specifications
- Act as a liaison between business teams and the tech team to ensure alignment and timely delivery
- Identify opportunities for automation and optimization in back-office operations
- Perform gap analysis and propose system or process improvements
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), troubleshoot issues, and ensure implementation matches expectations
- Track KPIs and operational metrics to guide continuous improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an e-commerce or marketplace setting or similar
- Strong understanding of marketplace platforms and backend e-commerce operations (order management, inventory systems, Financial, seller portals, etc.)
- Experience working in agile/scrum environments
- Familiarity with tools like Ji
