Role Overview

We are hiring Senior Developers (5–10 years) to work on Fiserv’s
Vision Next
platform — a next-generation, cloud-native, real-time, API-first card management and issuing platform (evolution of VisionPLUS / FirstVision).

Vision Next is modular, highly configurable, SaaS-oriented, and designed for agility, scalability, and rapid product launches for banks, issuers, and fintechs. It supports full card lifecycle management (credit, debit, prepaid, commercial, BNPL, etc.), real-time event processing, authorizations, postings, and integrations via up-to-date APIs. The platform emphasizes cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven patterns.

You will design, develop, and enhance high-scale, resilient services and APIs on this platform while collaborating with client (Fiserv) and internal teams in an Agile setup. Location preference:

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices, RESTful APIs, and backend components for Vision Next card management, event management, authorization, posting,



account servicing, and related modules.
- Build and integrate cloud-native, distributed systems supporting high-throughput, real-time transaction processing, event sourcing, and notifications.
- Implement API-first solutions with proper versioning, security (OAuth2/JWT, API Gateways), documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger), and developer experience focus.
- Work on event-driven architectures (Kafka or equivalent messaging), real-time data pipelines, rules engines, and self-service configuration capabilities.
- Collaborate on solution design, technical specifications, code reviews, unit/integration testing, performance tuning, and production support.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployments.
- Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed environments, perform root-cause analysis, and drive reliability/scalability improvements.
