Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities
Ensure timely invoice generation & submission to customers with relevant data.
Review customer contracts, verify agreed tariffs & ensure they are correctly listed in the ERP system and invoicing is correctly done.
Timely resolution of the customer queries/issues, if any.
Prepare and post revenue journal entries in the ERP/accounting system.
Reconcile revenue accounts with the General Ledger.
Coordinate with Sales, CS and Billing teams to resolve revenue discrepancies.
Prepare monthly revenue reports, deferred revenue schedules, and management MIS.
Complete the month-end and year-end financial close activities of revenue side.
Support internal and external audits by providing revenue-related documentation.
Ensure compliance with internal controls,



accounting policies, and statutory requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve revenue recognition processes and reporting accuracy.

Preferred candidate profile
Knowledge of accounting principles and revenue recognition standards.
Robust analytical skills & understanding of customer SLAs.
Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS).

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite.
Attention to detail and ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.

Positive communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
