– MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Reporting To: Maintenance Manager / Plant Head

Job Purpose

Responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant machinery and utilities through preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and utility-related equipment issues.
- Monitor equipment performance and minimize breakdowns and production downtime.
- Maintain equipment history, maintenance schedules, checklists, and breakdown reports.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor critical spare parts and coordinate with Stores/Procurement for timely availability.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance and servicing activities.
- Ensure compliance with EHS procedures,



LOTO, work permits, and PPE requirements.
- Support installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement of plant equipment.
- Track maintenance KPIs including equipment availability, MTBF, MTTR, and downtime.
- Coordinate with Production, EHS, Stores, and other departments for smooth plant operations.
- Lead and guide maintenance technicians/helpers as required.

Qualification & Skills
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in plant/industrial maintenance.
- Solid troubleshooting and maintenance planning skills.
- Knowledge of industrial safety and LOTO procedures.
- Experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, battery, recycling, or similar industries will be preferred.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
