This role is required to lead and manage end-to-end campus logistics and project-wise waste management for a large Data Centre campus having multiple projects under simultaneous development. The role will ensure efficient movement of construction materials, equipment and vehicles across the campus while establishing a robust system for collection, segregation, storage, transportation, recycling, authorised disposal and documentation of waste generated by each project. The position will act as the central point of accountability for logistics and waste management, ensuring that project execution is not constrained by logistics or waste accumulation and that all activities meet safety, environmental, statutory and company requirements.

The person should transform logistics and waste management from a project-level reactive activity into a professionally governed campus-wide function

Role & responsibilities

Campus Logistics Planning

- Develop and implement the Campus Logistics Master Plan covering all current and future Data Centre projects.
- Plan common logistics infrastructure including:
- Entry and exit gates, Internal roads, Internal roads Loading/unloading areas, Management of material staging areas, Waste collection areas
- Develop campus traffic and vehicle movement plans; establish delivery slots and vehicle movement protocols.
- Coordinate logistics requirements across multiple projects to avoid congestion and conflicts.
- Establish a project-specific logistics plan aligned with the campus master plan.
- Coordinate material deliveries with Project, Procurement, SCM and contractors.
- Ensure materials are delivered to the correct project and work front.

Waste Management Campus Responsibility





- Develop and implement a Campus Waste Management Plan covering every project and common campus area; Excavated earth/soil, Concrete and RCC waste, Bricks and masonry, Sand and aggregates; Steel and metal scrap, Wood Packaging material, Plastic, Plastic Cardboard, Gypsum, Insulation, Cable drums, Electrical/equipment packaging
- MEP installation waste; General construction waste
- Hazardous waste, Used oil and oil-contaminated materials, Batteries; E-waste, Electrical/electronic scrap
- Chemical, Paint/solvent containers & Green waste

Project-Wise Waste Collection & Disposal

- Establish a project-wise waste collection and disposal system.
- Nominate waste collection points within each project.
- Define waste segregation standards at source.
- Establish collection frequency based on project activity and waste generation.
- Ensure waste does not accumulate at construction work fronts.
- Maintain adequate disposal capacity during construction peaks.
- Ensure all waste is transported through approved/authorised agencies.
- Ensure no unauthorised dumping or disposal occurs.

Waste Vendor & Contractor Management

- Identify and empanel qualified waste; management /recycling/ disposal agencies.
- Ensure vendors possess required licences, authorisations and statutory approvals.
- Define waste disposal SLAs and KPIs.




- Monitor vendor performance; Conduct periodic vendor audits.
- Include waste management obligations in contractor scopes and contracts.
- Maintain complete project-wise records of scrap generation and disposal.

Traffic & Vehicle Management

- Develop and enforce the Campus Traffic Management Plan.
- Establish dedicated routes for construction vehicles.
- Manage truck parking and waiting areas.
- Implement delivery slot management; Monitor vehicle turnaround time.; Control vehicle speed and unsafe movements.
- Coordinate with Security for gate entry and exit.

HSE & Environmental Compliance Work closely with HSE/Sustainability teams to ensure compliance with applicable:

- Environmental regulations; Construction and demolition waste requirements; Hazardous waste requirements ; E-waste requirements; Plastic waste requirements ; Local pollution-control requirements ; Transportation requirements ; Site HSE standards
- Implement a digital Logistics & Waste Management Dashboard covering:

Preferred candidate profile

- 12- 15 years exp with Bachelors degree in engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations or related discipline.
- Certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Waste Management or Environmental Management would be advantageous.
- Experience in large construction, infrastructure, industrial, Data Centre, power, manufacturing or similar projects.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Solid experience in construction logistics and transportation.
- Demonstrated experience in construction waste/C&D; waste management.
- Experience in contractor and third-party waste vendor management.
- Experience with heavy equipment logistics would be preferred.
