A Logistics Executive in the Transport Department focuses exclusively on the movement of bulk minerals, heavy equipment, and personnel. This role manages fleet operations, coordinates drivers and contract carriers, and optimizes dispatch schedules to ensure productive, safe, and uninterrupted movement between the mine site, processing plants, and dispatch hubs.
Role & responsibilities
Vendor & Driver Management
- Contractor Coordination: Monitor third-party transport contractors to ensure they provide the agreed-upon number of vehicles daily.
- Driver Compliance: Verify driver licensing, medical clearances, and mandatory site induction records before granting mine access.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience: 2 to 4 years managing bulk transport operations, fleet dispatch, or commercial vehicle operations in mining or infrastructure construction.
