About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support our Accounts & Finance team. The ideal candidate should be positive with numbers, organized, and able to manage day-to-day accounting tasks efficiently.

Specific Skills Required

n

n
Commerce background (B.Com / M.Com preferred)
n
Robust passion for accounting and willingness to grow in the finance domain
n
Proven experience in an accounting role
n
Proficiency in Tally ERP 9
n
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word
n
Familiarity with Google Sheets & Google Docs
n
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills
n
Efficiency in handling compliance-related matters
n
Ability to manage workflow within due dates and timelines
n
Flexibility to adapt as per company requirements
n
Highly responsible, accountable, and detail-oriented
n

Goals for This Position / Key Responsibilities

n

n
Independently manage day-to-day accounting workflow
n
Maintain bookkeeping records and registers accurately
n




Prepare and validate invoices (Debtors/Creditors)
n
Perform ledger reconciliation on a regular basis
n
Handle petty cash transactions and documentation
n
Prepare monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS)
n
Ensure timely execution of the payment process
n
Exposure in the computation and filing of TDS, GST, PF/PT, Payroll, Form 16 & Form 16A, and 26AS reconciliation will be an added advantage
n
Manage employee reimbursements and related documentation
n
Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
n
Assist in the preparation of financial reports as required by management
n
Carry out any additional responsibilities assigned based on company requirements
n

Awareness of latest notifications, amendments, and updates related to compliance matters (TDS, GST, PF/PT, Payroll, etc.)
