Writer Relocations is hiring for a Manager – Business Development & Sales for our Mumbai and Ahmedabad locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate new leads and business opportunities for household goods relocation services and achieve branch sales targets.
n
Handle the complete sales cycle, from lead generation, customer meetings and enquiries to quotations, negotiations and closure.
n
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to generate repeat and referral business.
n
Understand customers' relocation requirements and recommend suitable household goods moving solutions.
n
Coordinate with Pricing, Operations, Move Management and other internal teams to ensure timely quotations and smooth service delivery.
n
Follow up regularly with customers, conduct sales meetings and presentations, and actively pursue new business prospects.
n
Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, sales pipeline, customer information and business closures.
n
Keep track of market trends,



customer requirements and competitor activities to identify recent business opportunities.
n
Coordinate with internal teams to address customer queries, escalations and ensure a good customer experience.
n
Support growth by identifying recent markets, customers and prospects to increase revenue and profitability.
n

Preferred Candidate Profile:

n

n
MBA/PGDM in Marketing or an equivalent postgraduate qualification.
n
3 to 6 years of experience in Business Development and Sales. Experience in the relocations industry is preferred; candidates from related service industries such as logistics, hospitality, etc. can also be considered.
n
Prior experience in sales and business development roles.
n
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
n
Good understanding of the local market and ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
