Job Role: Special Educator

Qualifications:

n

n
Special Educator: Master's or Bachelor's in Special Education or related field (B.Ed. in Special Education) or Diploma in Special Ed (RCI-recognised)
n

n

Experience:

n

n
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in special education and/or occupational therapy.
n

n

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
Design, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
n
Coordinate and supervise special education and OT staff.
n
Conduct and/or review educational and functional assessments to determine student needs.
n




Oversee the planning and execution of interventions.
n
Ensure integration of therapeutic strategies into classroom settings.
n
Collaborate to promote inclusive practices and support student development.
n
Provide training, coaching, and workshops for teaching staff and aides on strategies for inclusive education and classroom adaptations.
n
Maintain documentation in accordance with legal, regulatory, and institutional standards (e.g., RCI, IEP documentation, therapy reports).
n
Track and evaluate student progress, revising intervention plans as needed.
