PositionAdvocate – Civil, Commercial, Consumer & Criminal Litigation

Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Experience: 3–5 years of post-enrolment litigation experience

Key Practice AreasThe ideal candidate should have substantial hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Civil Litigation

Key ResponsibilitiesThe selected Advocate will be expected to independently handle assigned litigation matters and take ownership of day-to-day case management, including:
- Drafting plaints, written statements, complaints, petitions, applications, replies, rejoinders, affidavits and other pleadings.
- Conducting detailed legal research and preparing case notes based on applicable statutes, rules, regulations and judicial precedents.
- Appearing before courts, tribunals, commissions and other judicial and quasi-judicial forums.
- Independently managing hearings, filings, procedural requirements, deadlines and other litigation compliances.
- Reviewing pleadings, documents and evidence and identifying critical legal and factual issues.
- Developing litigation strategy and providing practical, solution-oriented legal advice on assigned matters.
- Preparing matters for hearings, arguments and cross-examination, wherever required.
- Coordinating with clients, senior counsel, the Delhi office and other empanelled Advocates.
- Maintaining accurate case records, hearing updates, deadlines and litigation documentation.




- Ensuring timely filing of pleadings, applications, replies and other court documents.
- Representing clients professionally and effectively before the relevant forums.
- Supporting the continued expansion of Jurisiti Legal LLP’s litigation practice in Maharashtra.

Candidate ProfileWe are looking for an Advocate who demonstrates:
- 3–5 years of post-enrolment litigation experience.
- Robust courtroom exposure and practical litigation-handling experience.
- Excellent drafting, pleading and legal research skills.
- Sound working knowledge of civil, commercial, consumer and/or criminal law.
- Strong understanding of substantive and procedural law.
- Ability to independently manage matters, hearings, filings and deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Professional client-handling and coordination abilities.
- Analytical thinking, sound legal judgment and attention to detail.
- Professional integrity, accountability and a strong sense of ownership.
- A proactive, disciplined and result-oriented approach to litigation.
