Role & responsibilities
- Conduct research related to Real Estate Laws, Property Laws, Contract Laws, Labour Laws, Insolvency Laws, Companies act along with any other applicable laws, rules, regulations, notifications, circulars, and government policies.
- Research and analyse judgments, case laws, legal precedents, and judicial decisions.
- Prepare legal research notes, opinions, summaries, and briefing documents.
- Assist the legal team in analysing legal issues through the research.
- Monitor changes and developments in laws and regulations relevant to the organization's business.
- Support the Legal Department in litigation-related research and preparation of case briefs.
- Maintain an organized database of key judgments, legal provisions, precedents, and regulatory updates.
- Verify the authenticity, applicability, and current status of legal provisions and judgments.
- Coordinate with internal departments to obtain information and documents required for legal research.
- Maintain confidentiality of all legal and business information.
Preferred candidate profile
- Ability to conduct comprehensive and in depth research on legal cases.
- Good understanding of Indian laws and legal procedures.
- Proficiency in using legal research platforms, government portals, case-law databases, and other online resources.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Educational Qualification
- LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university.
- Candidates with specialization or practical exposure in Real Estate, RERA, Corporate, Property, or Contract Law will be preferred.
Experience
- 14 years of relevant experience in legal research, law firms, corporate legal departments, or real estate organizations.
