Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering will be preferred.
- Candidates should fulfill the applicable AICTE/MSBTE norms for the position.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach Engineering Drawing / Engineering Graphics to Diploma students.
- Explain fundamental concepts of engineering graphics and technical drawing.
- Conduct practical drawing sessions and provide hands-on guidance to students.
- Teach topics such as:
- Orthographic Projection
- Isometric Projection
- Projection of Points, Lines and Planes
- Sections of Solids
- Development of Surfaces
- Machine Drawing
- Dimensioning and Engineering Drawing Standards
- Basic CAD / AutoCAD, wherever applicable
- Prepare lesson plans, lecture notes, practical assignments, and study materials.
- Conduct drawing assignments, class tests, internal assessments, and practical examinations.
- Evaluate students' drawing work and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain attendance, academic records, internal assessment marks, and departmental documentation.
- Guide students in improving drawing accuracy, visualization, technical understanding, and CAD skills.
- Mentor students and support their academic development.
- Coordinate with the HOD and faculty members regarding academic planning and departmental activities.
- Participate in technical events, workshops, seminars, industrial visits, and other institutional activities.
- Maintain proper utilization of drawing instruments, CAD facilities, and laboratory resources.
- Perform other academic responsibilities assigned by the HOD/Principal.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Engineering Drawing / Engineering Graphics.
- Excellent understanding of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD/CAD software will be an advantage.
- Ability to demonstrate drawing techniques clearly and effectively.
- Positive communication and presentation skills.
- Strong classroom management and student mentoring abilities.
- Ability to teach both theory and practical/drawing sessions effectively.
Experience Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
Previous teaching experience in a Polytechnic/Diploma Engineering college will be preferred.
The ideal candidate should be technically sound, patient, creative, and passionate about teaching Engineering Drawing, with the ability to develop students' technical visualization and drawing skills.
