Greenfield Azure platform build. You'll design the landing zones, the golden paths, and the self-service tooling that every engineering team in the company builds on — from scratch, not inherited.

We're hiring a Lead Platform Engineer for the Developer Experience and Cloud Platform Engineering team of a US-headquartered healthcare technology company, at their newly launched Global Capability Center in Hyderabad. This role is managed confidentially; client details are shared with shortlisted candidates.

What You'll Own

- Azure landing zones from the ground up — subscription strategy, resource organisation, workplace separation, RBAC, policy, and secure connectivity
- Reusable Terraform modules for identity, compute, messaging, networking, monitoring, and security
- Golden paths and self-service tooling so application teams can provision, deploy, and operate cloud workloads without filing tickets
- Standardised CI/CD — reusable pipeline templates and automated quality gates in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
- Secure-by-default patterns built with security and architecture teams: policy as code, secrets management,



identity-based access, guardrails
- Observability standards — logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, alerting, and SLO tracking baked into the templates teams already use
- AI-assisted engineering adoption to lift developer productivity and delivery speed

What You Bring

- 9+ years in platform, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE engineering
- Deep hands-on Microsoft Azure — PaaS services, cloud-native hosting, networking, secure connectivity, governance
- Strong Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code
- CI/CD at depth: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, reusable pipeline templates, automated deployment
- Cloud governance fundamentals: RBAC, policy as code, tagging, secrets management, compliance guardrails
- Solid observability practice — logging, metrics, tracing, production troubleshooting, SLO/SLA tracking
- Working knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Track record driving platform adoption and developer experience across engineering teams

Nice to have: Kubernetes/AKS, exposure to AI-assisted engineering tooling, regulated-industry or healthcare experience.
