Purpose/Objective

Associate Lead - Physical Security will coordinate security projects in data centres, implement strategies to address risks and ensure compliance with industry standards.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting security assessments, and offering expert guidance on security matters.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Security Strategy : Implement security strategies and plans to address potential risks and vulnerabilities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security solutions into the project lifecycle, ensuring seamless implementation and operational efficiency.

Security Assessments: Conduct comprehensive security assessments to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and gaps in security measures, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Security Audits: Coordinate security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements, identifying areas for remediation.

Risk Management: Identify & report risks, implement risk management strategies to mitigate security threats, continuously assessing and addressing potential security risks across projects.

Liaison with Government Bodies: Collaborate and liaise with government bodies, law enforcement, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to security.

Vigilance: Establish and maintain vigilance protocols to detect and prevent unauthorized access or security breaches, ensuring proactive monitoring of critical assets.

Incident Reporting: Scan for & report incidents,



conduct & coordinate incident reporting process, ensuring timely documentation, investigation, and communication of security incidents to relevant stakeholders.

Technology Trends: Stay informed about emerging security technologies and trends, recommending creative solutions to enhance the organization's security posture.

Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on security-related issues, offering insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on security objectives, project goals, and initiatives.

Digital mindset: Champions a digital mindset within the organization to drive innovation and competitiveness.

Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in any field Work Experience: 6-10 years of experience in the Data Centres industry with relevant experience in asset security, personnel security, intelligence & vigilance, liaisoning with local police & government.

Preference to candidates with services background
