Senior Associate-Statutory Audit

Job Location: Bangalore,

Role - Audit Service Delivery –Manage and supervise the execution of external audit engagements of various clients in accordance with relevant regulatory and qualified auditing and assurance standards.

n

The Requirement:

n

n
Qualified CA and minimum of Bachelors' degree
n
1.10+ years of post-qualification experience along with solid Articleship experience from a mid-size or a Big 4 firm
n

n

Responsibilities:

n

n
Work closely with onshore audit engagement teams as assigned, performing various audit procedures in accordance with Audit methodology.
n
Provide audit service delivery and demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of the industry specific/other permissible procedures.
n
Build positive relationships by being able to demonstrate to the engagement team an understanding of audit procedures and the Audit Methodology .
n
Seize business prospects (processes/clients) within permissibility guidelines Demonstrate ability to identify technical issues, professional skepticism and analyse and research solutions.
n
Improve audit service delivery based on the engagement team's feedback.



Guide and coach CRC professionals and provide continuous feedback for their overall professional development
n
Coaching, training and providing guidance to less experienced peers and juniors on any questions related to the work assigned as well as Audit Methodology.

Work Experience:

n

n
Work experience Be a quick learner and demonstrate adaptability to change.
n
Working knowledge under Indian / Canadian / US auditing standards along with knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP.
n
Risk assessment, controls, substantive procedures, evaluation of audit results, verifying financial statements for compliance with accounting framework.
n
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, especially with onshore audit engagement teams or clients
n
Good working knowledge of MS Excel
n
Working knowledge of audit documentation tool Exposure to supporting tools such as IDEA, similar other sampling tools would be a plus Attention to detail, accuracy and quality Industry and specialized knowledge in auditing.
n
Ability to manage the expectations of onshore client engagement teams. Willingness and capability to deliver under tight deadlines Issue identification and critical thinking
