- Headline: As a Lead Accounts Payable Accountant you will play a central role in managing the end-to-end accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across financial operations.

Role and impact:
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices, check requests, and expense reports.
- Lead the accounts payable team, oversee transitions, knowledge transfer, and provide training.
- Participate in meetings and projects to align with evolving business requirements.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), templates, and guidelines.
- Prepare payment runs and wire payments; ensure timely disbursements.
- Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with tax documentation.
- Delegate tasks, oversee daily accounts payable activities, and support team members in meeting deadlines.
- Provide audit documentation, enforce internal controls, and ensure adherence to standards.
- Analyze accounts payable workflows, recommend efficiency improvements, and implement best practices.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls on a timely basis.
- Work effectively with procurement, project management, and business users across locations and functions.

What you will bring

- B.Com or M.Com/MBA degree
- 9-12 years of related experience in addition to specialized expertise
- Strong accounting skills with a solid understanding of accounting principles and concepts
- Knowledge of core accounting functions, with expertise in Accounts Payable
- Strong analytical skills • Good communication skills with fluency in English
- Good command over Excel & Power query and similar reporting tools like BI.
- Working knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA
- Stakeholder management skills to build and maintain productive relationships




- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
