Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented US Tax Senior Associate with 1+ years of experience specializing in the preparation and review of 1065 (Partnership) and 1120 (Corporate) tax returns. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of US federal and state tax regulations and demonstrate the ability to manage complex tax compliance processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns, with a primary focus on 1065, 1120c and 1120s forms.
n
Analyze and interpret complex tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities.
n
Perform detailed tax research and document findings to support tax positions.
n
Review and reconcile tax workpapers, general ledger entries, and financial statements.
n
Identify and resolve tax issues through thorough analysis and research.
n
Assist in managing client relationships and serve as a key point of contact for tax-related inquiries.
n
Support junior team members by providing training, guidance, and technical expertise.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting.
n
Stay current on changes in tax laws and industry developments to maintain compliance and improve processes.

Qualifications:

n

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
n
Minimum of 1 year of experience preparing and reviewing 1065, 1120s and 1120c tax returns.
n
Strong knowledge of US federal and state tax laws and regulations.
n
Proficiency in tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, GoSystem, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
n
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
n
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex tax concepts clearly.
n
Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
n
Ability to work both independently and as part of a cooperative team setting.
