Experience Requirements:

- Hands-on experience in specimen collection, processing, testing, and reporting.
- Knowledge of clinical pathology, hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, serology, and immunology procedures.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS), EMR systems, and automated diagnostic equipment.
- Understanding of NABL standards, laboratory quality control, and infection prevention protocols.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect, label, process, and prepare patient specimens for laboratory testing.
- Perform routine laboratory investigations, including hematology, biochemistry, serology, microbiology, and clinical pathology tests.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and analyzers.
- Ensure accurate recording, validation, and reporting of test results.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality control measures, and laboratory safety protocols.
- Maintain laboratory records, documentation, and inventory of reagents and consumables.
- Assist pathologists and healthcare providers with diagnostic testing requirements.
- Adhere to infection control practices, biomedical waste management, and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any technical issues promptly.




- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of patient information.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1+ years of experience in pathology laboratories, diagnostic centers, hospitals, clinics, or medical centers.
- DMLT / BMLT / MLT from a recognized institution.
- Relevant laboratory certifications will be an added advantage.
- Registration with applicable regulatory bodies (where required).

- Knowledge of laboratory testing methodologies and quality assurance procedures.
- Proficiency in operating automated laboratory analyzers and diagnostic instruments.
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and EMR platforms.
