Position: Dance Teacher

Location: Worli, South Mumbai

Experience: Relevant experience in teaching Dance, preferably in an IB/International School

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
Plan and deliver engaging Dance lessons aligned with IB curriculum and learner-centred approaches.
n
Teach various dance forms, techniques, choreography, movement and performance skills.
n
Encourage creativity, self-expression, collaboration and cultural awareness among students.
n
Prepare students for school performances, productions, showcases and events.
n
Assess and document student progress using appropriate IB assessment practices.
n




Integrate dance with interdisciplinary learning and the IB Learner Profile.
n
Maintain a protected, inclusive and positive learning setting.
n
Collaborate with teachers and participate in school activities, exhibitions and performances.
n

Qualifications & Skills:

n

n
Degree/Diploma in Dance, Performing Arts or a relevant discipline.
n
Solid knowledge of dance techniques and choreography.
n
Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
n
IB/International School experience preferred; IB training/certification is an advantage.
n
